Hindi Diwas (Hindi Day) 2009 Celebration

Hindi Divas or Hindi day is on 14th September.

Our National Language Hindi Day is celebrated on 14 Sept as a spot of acknowledgement of the Hindi language. Hindi takes on the factual strength of Indians in form of broadmindedness. Although the unique Sanskrit language is known to be rented for Hindi, the power of Persians & Urdu language can be very fine seen here.

The Ministry of Home Affairs  deptt. Of Official Language is going to celebrate Hindi Diwas on 14th Sept at a gathering in Vigyan Bhawan Delhi. On this time President of India, Srimati Pratibha Patil will be the chief guest & Mr. P. Chidambaram, Indian Home Minister will take the chair over. Shri Ajay Maken, Minister of State will greet the Guest of Honor.

A whole of 47 prizes & rewards in the shape of Shield and Certificate and Cash will be awarded on this time. These prizes comprise of the prestigious Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Award for outstanding work completed in Hindi in Central Government Offices, Original Book Writing on Gyan Vigyan will be given Rajiv Gandhi National Award, Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Award for Original Book Writing in Hindi & Hindi Grih Patrika Award.
