Government on Tue declared that defense forces have freed the assistant and driver of the Rajdhani Express going from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar, the train was abducted by Maoists group today in West Midnapur.
“Rajdhani Express is free now from the Maoists group. The two drivers are also free now,” Mr. G K Pillai, the home secretary told press.
Maoists group PCPA had taken accountability for the abduction telling that the driver and co driver had challenged the Bandh.
Earlier in evening the driver & assistant of Bhubaneswar to New Delhi Rajdhani Express train, K. A. Rao & K.G. Rao was absent at Jhargram in West Bengal near Kolkata. The train abducted at Jhargram in West Bengal, where some protesters were protesting between Jhargram & next railway station Sardia, stopping the train route at about 2.30 in daytime.
