Amir Khan Wants Kiran Bedi has RTI head

Wajahat Habibullah is the chief information commissioner of our country. Anna Hazare (Social campaigner and activist), Aamir Khan (Bollywood actor), Arvind Kejriwal (RTI activist) and a procession of well-known personalities increasing a dynamic campaign for the club to be given to Kiran Bedi who is the 1st woman to get a high post of IPS Officer.

Anna Hazare, Aamir Khan, Narayana Murthy of Infosys & a crowd of renowned persons have sent letter to Prime Minister “Manmohan Singh” and congress leader Sonia Gandhi to say that Kiran Bedi should be given the post of chief information commissioner (CIC). Kiran Bedi has more credentials for this post. [smartads] They said if you are giving this opportunity to any another person then please tell us how that selected person is more appropriate than IPS Officer Kiran Bedi,” says the letter.

On Tuesday, a meeting will be held of related ministries to do discussion whether govt. employees should be made accountable to show their possessions under RTI Act.
