Nov 7: Raipur in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district, till 12:30pm at noon voting of about 35 % was recorded in the polling for Vaishali Nagar Assembly seat.

The voting started with a slower pace, but later set its pace with queues despite scorching heat.

There were over 2lakh voters which include 97200 women in Vaishali Nagar& 15candidates were in the tussle.

The bypoll got necessitated after Saroj Pandey, BJP legislator got elected to Lok Sabha in May.

Votes would be counted on Nov. 10.
