heavy rains & water logging affected Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Most of the parts of Tamil Nadu are tied up due to north east monsoon; due to this the state is getting affected badly.

Met officials told that around 15cms rain was measured as maximum near Red Hills & 11cms at Cuddlier.

At Nungambakkam, the observatory recorded 10 cm rainfall, added up to that the north east side monsoon is active over the whole state. [smartads]

According to Met officials, there are chances that rain along with thundershowers could occur at most of the places over coastal area of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry & tomorrow at some more places over inside areas of Tamil Nadu.

Met office told that there are chances that Chennai along with its neighbor areas could have cloudy sky with few shower or thundershowers& sometimes heavy too

In the meantime, the city remained flooded especially on the low-lying areas remained. Vehicles moved very slowly due to water-logging
