This music of Paa is good . Ilya Raja can never be matched , even by himslef. I am a hardcore fan of him and i loved his music in southern movies , May it be his connection with the language or with people or with the music itslef in south. ofcourse you can see my stance is biased already… I definitely draw boundaries here.. This carnatic music master has hard time connecting with people in north with these expectional numbers due to thier lack of closeness to appeal to commonale.. Unless someone is really into music , it is hard to appreciate these songs by a common man… Great music copositions but not for ordinary man.. hence this music will not win the hearts of people.. I am just posing a question here , i am no where close to ctitising his music.. But i love all the original songs of ilaya raja and i am his biggest fan of all.. How can any one compare me Putham Pudhu Kaalai from Alaigal Olivathillai with Halke Se Bole … A classic turned into mediocre music , doesnt touch the heart like the original. Gumm Summ Gumm … oh my god.. i listened the song in Telugu movie , Nereeskhana ( Akaasam Ye natido).. This is till date my favourite of all time , even better than malayalam original .. but hmmm. Gumm summ.. dosent connect me.. atlast , Madram Vantha turned into chini kam? awww.. cant imagine amithab picturised on this song instead of Mohan.. such an agony , i would love to listen Ilaya Raja in hindi but not changing his own classics to just ordinary songs.. i appreciate R Balkis effort but hmmm.. doesnt connect me..

i don’t understand why everyone is soo hyped up about this movie when they can see a better version named Benjamin Button as it is an american movie…btw..the movies that are sooo goood in India are copied from other countries..if you want to argue here is the perfect example dil bole haddippa is she’s the man, or gajni from the french movie…indian people cannot make good movies right now (don’t get me wrong, they have made excellent movies before, but are getting too much credit for copied movies currently) hence why the indian movies rated 5 are only rated about a 3 in america….

Well, Illayaraja is the king of music. I don’t think his music deserves the criticism of idiots who do not have a musical background but can simply dance for any crappily made hip hop non sense.

Paa’s music takes you back to your childhood days and you can really feel the hardwork of every single musician that has worked real hard to make you feel enchanted. Long live Raja and his music. Kudos to the entire crew for putting together a real good musical experience.
