On Nov. 16 In Versova, Manoj Tiwari, a famous Bhojpuri actor’s office was assaulted by Ten-fifteen people , it is alleged that this happened in order to take revenge because he might have given anti-Marathi remarks in Varanasi.

DCP K M M Prasanna told, “The group rushed into office& they told Manoj’s manager Pramod Pandey to warn Manoj, ‘that he should not indulge in any kind of politics’ & they broke off 2glasspanes there.”

The police lodged a case of criminal assault& damage to property& they are searching the people who did this mischievous act.

Even in last year, Manoj’s office was allegedly attacked by MNS party’s activists, as a part of their anti-north Indian campaign. Manoj’s politician friend Sanjay Nirupam told he had words with Manoj’ wife after he heard about this incident, even though Manoj’s wife wasn’t aware of anything but she felt the reason behind all this might be Manoj’s remarks in Varanasi, this might have led to provocation.
