King Leo might rule either with huge dusty insignia or scientists have got explanations about the particles that come shooting from King Leo’s direction every November, aiming towards earth. Even Leonid meteor showers in 2009.

Scientists told that these “shooting stars” might be leftovers of the comet Temple-Tuttle’s trail.   

The history reveals that King Leo’s constellation shaped up from Nemean lion that got strangulated by Heracles. Nemean lion got strangled; he wasn’t shot, because the lion’s skin was metal or stone resistant.

The other edition is that King Leo might have come in between lover’s rendezvous.

Ovid explained that Thisbe & Pyramus’ parents forbid them to marry. So, they secretly planned up to meet up outside the walls of the city.

Thisbe came early, exactly the time when King Leo was chewing a bloody snack.  Thisbe got panick-struck& she ran, even though King Leo couldn’t catch her but King Leo catched up her veil with his blood dripped jaws.

Then Pyramus entered. He saw that bloody veil& thought Thisbe got killed. He instantly killed himself with his sword. At that same instant Thisbe returned back& she forced that very same sword into herself too.

Ever since that time, King Leo has been stuck up in the sky& it shower only once in a year.
