Opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi (who is in custody) wants to collaborate with Myanmar’s ruling junta for stimulating foreign sanctions. But it’s unsure if the reunion would give results. [smartads]

Suu Kyi has requested in 1 letter dated Nov. 11, to Junta Chief Senior General Than Shwe, to organize a meeting to give details about how she would assist in responsibilities which are good for country’s benefit. But it wasn’t specified what that would be. However the government has yet to respond.

In Japan, Donald Seekins who is Myanmar’s expert at Meio University noticed that all previous attempts of reunion did not proved to be fruitful. The issues starts up& disappears again, its circumstances depend upon political state of affairs.

In her letter, Suu Kyi is looking to seek consent to meet with the National League for Democracy (NLD’s) central executive committee members. She took such kind of approach that could not be discarded& all are optimistic that govt. will respond in positive sense to her letter& hope for positive conclusion.
