India made a huge 417 runs in 90 over’s on the 1st day of 2nd test match against Sri Lankan team. The major contributor were Virendra Sehwag (131), Gautam Gambhir(167) and Rahul Dravid (85*) on day 1. The rapid inning of Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir helped Indian team to put large score of 417 after loosing 2 wickets on 1st day of 2nd test match vs SL team.

Muralitharan was the only bowler from the Sri Lankan team who took the both wickets. Gambhir was caught by him on his own ball.
