Mumbai: The popular latest edition of Country’s most popular devoted song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara‘ was launched on the eve of Republic Day eve with new undergo and essence.
Bollywood celebrity Amitabh Bachchan launched the new edition of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara‘ as ‘Phir Mile Sur‘ at Taj Hotel in Mumbai.
Entertainingly, the megastar has featured in the both edition of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara‘. [smartads]
The original version of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara‘ was conceptualized and recorded by late Suresh Mallik and the song was first aired on Doordarshan on August 15, 1988.
In the original version, numerous famous -personalities from film, music, sports jointly come jointly to display the country’s tradition ‘Unity in Diversity’. The personalities include: Bhimsen Joshi, tabla maestros Allah Rakha, sitar maestro Ravi Shankarm, Balamurali Krishna, Zakir Hussain, sportsman Prakash Padukone, cricketer Narendra Hirmani, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Jitendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Lata Mangeshkar, Sharmila Tagore, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Tanuja Waheeda Rehman, Kamal Hassan and Hema Malini.
After the Twenty- Two years, Arti and Kailash Surendranath brought the new version of the song as ‘Phir Mile Sur‘.
There are sixty known celebrities have been there in the 2010 version of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara‘, which consists of, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Juhi Chawla, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan Shilpa Shetty & many others.
It characteristics 22 superstar, 18 musician, 13 artistes and singers and 15 other notable personalities.

hmm..I have mixed feelings abt this video…use of singers and instruments was good but they should have shown all bollywood stars in a group and be done with and have covered other great inspirers- our country sportsmen( like cricketers, archer who won olympic medal) ; scientists, business men (Ambanis etc)
