Chocolate and Leaves

Reese’s Pieces

are like leaves,

in autumn,

Full of color

and texture.

Brown, red, orange

and yellow. [smartads]

Chocolate and leaves

are the same and different

in many ways.

Today is Pink

Today is Pink

to try and shatter

sterotypes of Muslim women.

Today is Pink

to raise awareness

of breast cancer.

Today is Pink

so wear pink

to show support.

Poem 2.: Temptation in a shiny gold wrapper.
Buy Now for your beloved – You have given chocolates before, just never like!
Chocolate,

waiting just out of reach,

bitterness offset by sweet.

The combination quite sublime.

Aroma, flavor, taste, sublime!

It beckons me to unwrap,

inhale the fragrance,

then nip with teeth

and suck it in.

Perhaps that’s why

it’s dark as sin.

Poem 3 .: Wondering why people make fun of her

All she can do is eat

Especially chocolate.

You can see it covered all over her face

Eating one bite at a time

No she is gulbing it down her throat

Man people laugh at her for her loving choclate

Shes skinny as can be

She doesnt gain weight by eating chocolate

She gains weight if she doesnt eat chocolate.

She doesnt care if people make fun of her

She tells them to back off

This girl is addicted to chocolate.

You know that and so do I.

Poem 4. :If I Had A Chocolate Boy

If you were made of chocolate

I’d be torn

I want you here forever

But you’d be so tasty

I can’t make this work

Should I love you or eat you?

Is my heart strong enough?

Or will my lustful hunger win?

Maybe I can have both

Eat some, love some

But could I do it?

Withstand your irresistible flavour?

Ah what to do?

Which part of me will get you?

I can’t live without you

My appetite can wait

Maybe. I’ll have a bite

Just to be sure

One nibble wont hurt

You’ll be practically whole

I’ll just have a taste and then…

Oh my God

You’re too good to save

You’d understand if it was me
