Bandh in Jammu for Protesting Against Beheading of Sikhs in Pak

Today a bandh was called by Sikhs to protest against the beheading of 2 associates of the community by Taliban in Pak. They blocked transportation and burnt tyres.

The bandh was called by J & K Sikh United Front and they were supported by BJP, VHP, JKNPP, Jammu Bar Association, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, besides social organizations. [smartads]

Sudershan Singh Wazir was leading there. The Jammu-Srinagar national highway was blocked by Sikh protestors for more than four hours. They made anti-Taliban slogans and burnt tyres at Digiana. They demonstrate in the city.

Shops and businesses were closed in the city and roads were partially off.
