Aftershocks after the Chile Earthquake Shake the Nation

The Chile earthquake aftershocks fear came true when a 6.9 magnitude aftershock struck off the coast of Chile on Saturday early morning. The aftershock was one of the biggest after the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that had powered across Concepcion hours earlier.

The 6.9 aftershock was located far away from the epicenter, around 130 miles west-southwest of the epicenter. Another aftershock of 5.5 magnitude struck near the coast of Valparaiso.

The troubles for Chile just began with the roads to Chile’s Los Bronces copper mine got blocked after the Santiago earthquake. The officials at the state run mines were not available for comment. The aftershocks to the Chile earthquake is leading to many people looking for a way of relief which looks tough at the current moment.
