Among my childhood sweet memories whenever my relatives came to visit us in Delhi, I was very much excited to give a warm welcome to them. At that time, Athithis were looked as our very much dear ones not as like ‘intruders’ as in recent times.
Now the time has taken a turn. Especially when you are living in a metropolis, you have no time for honor the any extra people- other than your family members or your colleagues which you can’t ignore in anyway. Any next person can be a way of obstacle to you and according to their thinking is a way of robbing your solitude.
The movie review of “ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE?” Depicts the reality and there is lot of space not only for humour and feelings but there also mentions an immense potential of the spiritual quotient that is well mingled in the storyline. [smartads]
ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? May not be like other movies as CHUPKE CHUPKE, GOLMAAL, CHITCHOR or KHATTA MEETHA but it has some kind of grand ancient movies charisma and fascination that one lacks in the cinema world today.
The last wording is bringing this Athithi at your home!
The star cast of the movie “ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE?” involves Ajay Devgn (Puneet) and Konkona (Munmun). The film tells us the story of Puneet and Munmun, a married couple who live in Mumbai. In their life arrive on an interesting way when their remote relative, Paresh Rawal (Chachaji), comes with informing them from a village. The guest, Chachaji when overstays there the married couple feel so much infuriated and tries to be quick to abandon their house.
ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? is a very entertaining movie that creates your humour at the various scenes. The best thing is that you not only smile at the funny characters but also at the many hilarious conditions, which make to stuck your comic bone.
ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? is totally depends on the three characters mostly – Ajay, Konkona and Paresh and director Ashwni Dhir and his amazing writer team members [Robin Bhatt, Tushar Hiranandani] who have confirmed that there is sufficient comic scenes that you can remember for a long time. In the script writing main wonderful thing is the spiritual part of the movie. The Athithi in home is arising in the funny manner the love towards God in Ajay and Konkona’s child by Mata ki aarti, the Ganesh Chaturthi festival and the sanskaar.
But in the movie, ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? There are also some drawbacks, the writing wanders around some areas which could be avoided in the initial phase. Some scenes are repeated as the scene which occurred at the police-station. Without much delay, Ajay give the work of finding the rid from the Paresh, which looks unlikely improbable. Some scenes can be looked as just to enhance the film length. The episode of Paresh breaking wind (gas/flatulence) looks witty in a situation but the overdose of it looks very tiresome.
About the climax of the movie ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? which initiates from establishment of Lord Ganesh’s idol in Ajay’s home till the termination of the story, makes at a large level visible? The famous director Ashwni Dhir, who is best known for his penning humorous shows well, handles the dramatic and emotional scenes through out the movie. The music is given by Pritam which seems to be normal, but the spiritual songs are very much fit at the comic level. Even the title track also suits to the ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? The camera work is excellent. The dialogues (Ashwni Dhir) are too perfect.
Ajay plays his role perfectly as it needs a lot of firm determination to play the character of a devoid star of mannerisms. Konkona looks too natural actress. Paresh in the disguise of athithi is amazing. He is really the scene-stealer. When Satish Kaushik looks good in the movie ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? demanding apology from Ajay. Akhilendra Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari and Viju Khote play nice roles. Sanjay Mishra is best also.
In the gist of the movie review of the movie, ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? is a comic movie. Its humour is with awareness and sturdy tinge of feelings. This Athithi surely will prove as a great place in your heart and mind too.
