New Delhi, April 27 (IANS) Delhi witnessed a thunderstorm Tuesday evening and the weather office said there were possibilities of rain in some parts of the city.
‘There were high winds blowing across the city and they reached to around 44 kmph. There is a possibility of scanty rain in some parts of the city,’ said an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature recorded Tuesday was 42.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above the average, and the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above the average.
The Met office has forecast maximum and minimum temperatures Wednesday to hover around 42 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
