
Teachers Day
Across many countries Teachers day is celebrated as a kind of recognition meant for the teachers who are one of the primary building blocks of our lives ever since we take our first steps out in the world as little children. It is the teacher who helps us connect with humanity sometimes with patience and love and also at times with sternness.
Moving ahead in life most of us forget the beginning we made which was backed by a supporting hand that helped us learn, grow and recognize what we could do as individuals. Ever try remembering a little remark of the word good or excellent accompanied by that little star made in each one’s life. In India the particular day of celebration that is marked as the 5th of September is also recognized as the Birthday anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was himself a great teacher and also a well known diplomat. He undertook president ship of the nation in the year 1962 and was a staunch believer of education. It was on his wants that his birth day was marked as a day meant for the honor of the teachers.
