The story starts with an artist Arun who befriends an investment banker from America named Shai. The loner Arun and Shai both enjoy a one night stand but Arun makes his criteria’s very clear that at this point he is not looking for a relationship. Later Arun changes his apartment and moves to another place where he finds the video tapings of the previous tenant Yasmin.
On the other hand Shai in search of a guide who can present her a view of the insider world of local worker befriends a Dhobi named Munna who also laundries for Arun. The movie culminates into a question for all viewers related to life and its depth. Indeed Kiran Rao has proved her fine efforts into the art of both writing and directing.
