Maputo, Mozambique : Minimum of three people have been reported dead from the violent demonstrations in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. The news was reported on Wednesday. The basic necessities of the people of Mozambique are suffering the inflation and the people are out marching on the streets of Maputo against the steep rise in the prices of electricity, food and water. Thousands of people from the capital are the one suffering from the rise in prices of the above. The poor people are always the ones who suffer in every condition of the government.

Heavy rains following Leh cloud burst have made the relief and rescue work even more hindered in response to the calamity that wreaked mass havoc and disaster over the entire region. 400 people are injured and over 112 people have been found dead with the death toll only predicted to rise further. In Siachen amongst 500 soldiers 20 are still missing. All routes and communication systems are blocked.

South Mexico shook by major earthquake on Tuesday. The initial quake of 6.4-magnitude felt around 2.22 in morning local time. The earthquake was centered around 41 KM (25 miles) north east of Pinotepa Nacional in Oaxaca, Mexico. Quake was centered around 10 KM (6.2 miles) deep, referring it a low earthquake, tells Mexico’s Seismological Service.

Canada and United States felt a powerful quake near Ontario-Quebec borderline area today & was sensed across areas of the US, seismologists said.

Earthquake of magnitude 5.5 struck at 1.41 day local time (17:41 GMT) and it was centered around forty nine KM (31 miles) north Cumberland, a city in east Ontario region.
