Impacts of Road Accidents On Indian Economy

Indians have felt the need for recovered road transportation in most parts of India due to increasing rate of road accidents. Although maintaining the situation of roads & traffic especially in Delhi is not an easy task. Around 1,200 people have been killed and 3,300 injured in road accidents in the national Capital (Delhi) this year so far while over 2,600 were arrested for their involvement in such accidents.

The untimely death of Swami Nigamanand who died on Monday after having fasted for nearly 4 months, is now being blamed on the Uttarkhand government. The Union Minister Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday declared that the government of Uttrakhand is responsible for the death of the seer who was trying to protect the holy river Ganga. The 35 year old sadhu was a victim of the land mafia who were against him.

MF Hussain aka Maqbool Fida Husain Passed Away

Famous artist MF Husain passed away in Royal Brompton Hospital today on Thursday in London. He was of 95 years. Exact reason of his death is yet to be known. As reports told, he was being treated for fluids in his lungs. He eventually adopted the nationality of Qatar.

KPN Bus Accident: Major accident near Vellore leaves 23 dead

A major road tragedy struck near Ocheri last night when a bus caught fire and all the passengers were reportedly burned to death.

The air conditioned bus owned by KPN Travels was carrying about 23 persons. No survivors’ are reported from the accident site. Some reports have put the death toll to 33.

Explosion outside Delhi high court; No Injury

Delhi (DLN): Bomb exploded of low-intensity today outside the busy Delhi High Court triggering panic. It should be known to people that no one was injured.

Bomb was kept in a packet near a car Ford Figo, of lawyer around at 1.15 pm police told. The car caught fire by explosion. Officers of the Delhi Police’s special cell and bomb detection and disposal unit were immediately hasty to the site.
