KARACHI, Pakistan, 7th June (DLN): Storm Cyclone is continuously pouring its ill-effects in a terrible way. The intense winds of Phet hit Oman and terribly destroyed the Sindh Province in Pakistan.  Phet which produced in Arabian Sea resulted in landfall in coastal region of Sindh yesterday and devastated outer boundaries of Karachi. Around 7 persons were electrocuted as per a regional officer. More details are not available concerned to this incident. Karachi & Balochistan fishermen were warned by the Pakistani air services.

School Bus fell into ravine in Pakistan, 54 Kids hurt

Islamabad, May 31 (IANS) 54 school kids were hurt, 5 critically, when their school bus plunged into a ravine Monday, police told.

The students, aged between 11 and 16, were on a recreational trip when the accident occurred on a hillside road near Wovla-Moch in Chitral district of Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa, formerly known as the North West Frontier Province.

Constitutional amendments are not open to legal review: Pak government

Islamabad, May 28 (IANS): The conflict between the Pak government and the Supreme Court seems to be intensified with the former now contending that constitutional amendments can’t be challenged.

The government and the Supreme Court are already on a collision course over implementing the latter’s order to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari and some 250 others who had benefited from the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), an amnesty against graft that the court has declared unconstitutional.

Twenty-seven militants killed in Pak’s tribal regions

5 back-to-back explosions happened in Shahi Mohalla, a neighborhood where lady singers do dances for money & where clients can also reimburse for sexual favors. The blasts caused terror in the crowded streets.

Indian woman diplomat is held for spying for Pakistan

New Delhi/Thimphu, April 27 (IANS) An Indian woman diplomat of second secretary rank, working with the Indian high commission in Islamabad, has been held here on charges of spying for Pakistan’s spy agency ISI. The Indian government Tuesday said it was questioning Madhuri Gupta for passing sensitive information to Pakistan.
